A seasoned veteran of the industry, Maria has relished making her clients look and feel pretty for over three decades. Maria has spent most of that time specializing in permanent makeup and loving it. Maria also served as a board member of the American Academy for Micropigmentation — in fact, Maria actually certified Julie as a trainer in 2017! Needless to say, Julie was over the moon about bringing her on to serve as her right hand in all things PMU training.

When Maria’s daughter, Adri, decided to move to Massachusetts to study, Maria decided to turn her empty nest into a new chapter in her life. She reconnected with Julie, who was thrilled and thankful for the opportunity to work with Maria and to tap into Maria’s vibrant spirit, mega talents and deep expertise.
AN EMPATHETIC ARTIST
For Maria the greatest sense of artistry comes from Areola reconstruction. “I love helping my clients come full circle. Seeing them become whole and feel happy again is incredibly meaningful to me.” A breast cancer survivor herself, Maria understands what Prettyology’s Areola reconstruction clients are going through. Amazing things happen when compassion is met with enormous talent and genuine love of the artistry of permanent makeup. The result is so realistic the untrained eye cannot discern any work was done.
REDEFINING BEAUTY
The technology for areola restoration has expanded over the years, allowing experienced artists like Maria to use 3D techniques to create more realism and achieve a natural look.
This process is especially empowering because it’s not turning back time as much as it’s redefining beauty at its deepest level. To witness the powerful effect of life-changing treatments that improve self-esteem (and quality of life) is to level-up the concept of beauty for everyone.
