Our Senior Makeup Artist, Shalyn, has been mastering her beauty techniques and charming clients for over 10 years. 

What’s your personal makeup style?

Simple eyes with a pop of color on the lips. I love simple, natural glowy skin so keeping my skin hydrated with moisturizer is essential.

What is your approach to makeup with your clients?

I ask about their personal daily routine so I can incorporate tips and tricks to add some “pinache” to their usual beauty regime without overhauling their look.

What do you always have in your makeup bag?

I always have a brow pencil, mascara and lipstick. The lipstick can double as a blush too!

What is a beauty regret you’ve had?

Over-plucking my brows and making them way to thin and frosted pink lipstick, that pepto bismol chalky color. A very bad 80’s hairdo… think waterfall teased bangs, that’s what frosted lipstick is.
