What is your personal makeup style?

Cat Eye all day everyday unless I am just not in the mood for eyeliner. It happens sometimes!

What is your approach to makeup with your clients?

I keep in mind that what I like isn’t necessarily going to be what my clients like. I want them to feel beautiful and confident not self-conscious and awkward with their makeup. Enhancing their best features in a way that exudes their personality is my goal for each person who comes to me.

What do you always have in your makeup bag?

Eyeliner. Not pencil I prefer gel or liquid for precision. I use Vaseline a lot actually. I put it on my lips before applying my lip color (so not a heavy Vaseline) and I use it to take my eye makeup off every night. And I can’t go without mascara.

What is a must for everyone’s beauty regime?

Always moisturize so you don’t look patchy.

What is a beauty regret you’ve had?

Oh there’s a few! My cousin and I use to apply a solid line of blue eyeliner on the bottom lash line just like my aunt did. It looked good on my aunt but on us….no. I would also match my eye shadow to my outfit. Everyday. I had so many cheap eye shadow pallets so I could do it too.

When did you know you wanted to become a makeup artist?

There’s this home video of me during Christmas when I was 2 years old. I was asked what I wanted from Santa and I answered “makeup” like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
